Brian Redman and Jo Siffert won the Sicilian classic driving a Porsche 908-3 entered by JW Automotive. The image depicts the winning car climbing up into the mountains from Cerda with Vaccarella's Ferrari 512 following. The "diamonds" car completed the 11 laps of the Piccolo Circuito Madonie, a distance of 491 miles, at an average speed of 74.7 mph to win it's debut race.
