Driving an Alfa Romeo T33-3, Toine Hezemans and Nino Vaccarella won the 55th Targa Florio, completing the 792 kilometres in just over six and a half hours. The scene depicted shows the winning car storming through Cerda leading serious opposition in the form of the Porsche 908 of Larrousse and Elford.  May 16th 1971, Sicily
