Each print is hand signed by Chris Amon & Caroll Shelby
Sparing no expense, Ford scored an historic victory at Le Mans in 1966. The Shelby American entered GT40 MK II driven by Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren was declared the winner, breaking the 3000 mile / 125mph barrier for the first time. The image shows the winning car as it passes through White House corner on the final lap with the second place car of Miles and Hulme, both being followed by the similar car of Bucknum and Hutcherson. The dead heat that was planned by Henry Ford II was technically impossible since the cars had started 20 metres apart.
