Each print is hand signed by Jose Froilan Gonzalez & Luigi Villoresi
It was at Silverstone in 1951 on the occasion of the British Grand Prix that the Argentinian Jose Froilan Gonzalez scored what is probably the most famous and important of Ferrari's Grand Prix victories. Driving a 375/F1 he ended the Alfa Romeo Grand Prix domination, inflicting their first post war defeat. The image depicts the tremendous battle between Gonzalez and Fangio who are shown leading the Ferrari of Villoresi which was to eventually finish in third place with Farina's Alfa following. For the first time the name of Ferrari was to be in the fore of Grand Prix racing, a position it would become accustomed to.
